Sorry for my absense

For the past week I was working on this competition that I just recently competed in yesterday.  To my dismay the other two people that I performed with dropped the ball on the goal line.  We didnt win the competition and I shouldve done it by myself.  Food for thought "if you want something done right, do it your damn self".  Pissed, heated, yeah all of that pretty much.  But oh well im back to the blog.  Back to the music. Now Im not writing everybody else's lyrics and telling them how to rap/sing them along with showing them how to present themselves on stage, making the beats, cutting them, getting timing down, and helping people remember shit, so I have all the time in the world to keep you guys updated with poetry and my music...fashion...etc...etc...

Just a note to tell yall sorry and im back!

Video of Chris Brown Beating Rihanna

Ok so I came across this.  AHAHHAHAHAHAH.  I know im wrong for posting this but it was possibly the funniest thing ive seen in AGES.

For the record I believe that Chris Brown should be cut some slack for the whole situation.  I dont condone how they are using him as an example because of stardom.  The same way I dont condone how they used Michael Vick as an example.

Kid Cudi Retires....then Hardtimez

Yeah im blown about Kid Cudi retiring after this one album.  I know that most of you are too.  It angers me how much shit people are put through in this industry.  When people refer to hip hop being dead its not just the craftmanship of it but also the culture and respect towards it, and artists involved in it.  It seems as if people think that they have to take shots at other artists to get their names out there and that is bullshit.  Its fucking dumb.  Pave your own path to where you want to go, dont shit on the path that somebody has fought hard to dig to get to their destination of choice.  ahh...im pissed...dont even want to get into this because this would be a 10 page post if i continued.

BUT...

If you didn't know the artist known as Hardtimez passed away.  He had a son though named Adeola V. Human.  He is expected to be more talented than his predecessor Hardtimez.  In a recent interview with Rome/Wrecking Crew Adeola V. Human stated that he was going to release a EP within the next few weeks to give people an idea of what he is about.  He is rumored to be working with a few producers and artists that he asked not to name before the EP drops, but gave a few hints saying "You should expect the children of swag, Nored, and possibly the suburbs on this mixtape.  I know you may be thinking who the hell are they, but it will all come together when I drop the EP in a few weeks".   I dont know about the rest of you people but I am quite curious what the young man has to bring to the table.

Rihanna- Rehab

I know the song is old. But I still think the production on the song is CRAZY...ahhhh Timbaland did a great job producing it and Justin Timberlake killed it while writing this hit. I just cant get enough of it. Im a big R&B head and now a days most of it is all the same nonsense. But the combination of her voice, the beat, and the leveling is just pure perfection in my mind. But maybe im just tripping because its 2 in the AM...hmm ur opinion?

Kid Prodigy P.2

So this Jordan Adams kid from the post under this one intruiged me enough to look for more videos on him.  THIS KID AMAZES ME...this is him at the age of 8!!  Man his parents did a great job getting him the necessary skills to play.

The guy who is filming it is funny though.  He sounds all excited haha.  "Man I could listen to you for hours, that was GREAT". Lol...sounds a little perved.  HAHA dont mind me, and if the guy who filmed this happens to stumble across this blog, dont mind me its just my sense of humor!

Kid Prodigy

So im on my quest to find the next dope thing right.  And what do I stumble across?  I see a young african american male standing in front of a piano in front of a video.  I think its probably just a joke but as I watch the video the kid is very well mannered and professional.  But thats not the best part about it.  The kid can play the piano better than anybody I can remember.  I damn near got dizzy just looking at his hands.  PEEP IT!

.Sure there are people out there that will say this is no big deal but to me it is because this is a young african amercan male that is doing something other than rapping or singing.  He is deviating from a path that society has subconsciously put his race and gender in.  Keep it up Mr. Jordan Adams!

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li

So I just finished watching the new street fighter movie.  At first I didnt even want to waste my time because I thought it was going to be cheesy.  But hey what guy didnt like street fighter as a kid??  And the first movie was pretty good.  So here are my thoughts of it.  It was a very entertaining movie.  The soundtrack was dope and the story of it kept me interested throughout the whole movie.  I like how they chose to single out the making of one single character instead of having all of them in one movie.  This makes it easier to create a movie dynasty such as Saw.  Next street fighter movie should be on Ryu.  Hmmm....If you skip out on watching this one you HAVE TO PEEP the one on Ryu.
